Today we practiced drawing En Plein Air. Which simply means drawing outside in the landscape. There’s something calming about taking the time to look around and not only see what is in front of you, but try to capture it on a piece of paper. Being still and in the moment. Somehow when you sit still, you really notice every movement, within the air, wind on the grass, light shimmering on the pond. The colours you see look even more luminous and brilliant. We saw a few dragonflies flying around like they were dancing and at times looked like they were watching us.
